Flexible Homemade Ice Packs

property view

Hello hello!

Well, posting is getting few and far between as my time grows near. Can you believe my little one #3 will be here in less than 4 weeks! Amazing. Plus my computer is at the shop so I have to use my husband’s which is not the idea setup… so that leaves little room for long rambling blog posts like my norm.

Having said that, check out this guest post I did! I’ve done a few guest posts at DIYNatural and I just adore Matt and Betsy there. They are really great people and committed to living a more healthy and natural lifestyle. If you aren’t following them on facebook or twitter, you should! Anyway, here’s my post!

How to Make An Ice Pack

Cheers, and have a great day everyone!

  1. I love Matt & Betsy’s website too-I learned to make my own window cleaner from them. I love your ice pack idea. Frozen peas work well the first time, but then they thaw with the first use and if you freeze it again, you’ve got a solid block of ice, which, of course, is not flexible at all. However, this sounds quite promising! Also, I did miss you while you had no blog, and wondered what had happened. But, since I found you on Facebook I wasn’t too worried. Can’t wait to see your new little one when s/he arrives!

    1. Well thank you! It’s nice to be missed 🙂 I agree on the frozen veggies – they are what I’d use in a pinch but longterm it’s nice to have the one I made sitting in the freezer waiting to be reused.

The good news is that I’m hopefully getting my computer back tomorrow! I think I’ve been without it for two weeks. I’m on my husband’s computer but the way he has it set up makes it hard for me to work one so I just pretty much check email and facebook.
