My name is Bethany and I am a wannabe homesteader. I started this blog two years ago when my daughter was born when I was a working mother of two. At the time I longed to be a stay-home mom. In September of 2010, I was able to realize that goal and my entire family has flourished as a result. This blog is a continuance of just me journaling my many projects.
The next big goal is to find a way to move out to the land. We have some property on the other side of the state where we will eventually build our forever home. I always have some project, scheme or THING that I am working on up there.
My parents live nearby so when we go out we have lots of fun playing with the chickens, poking around in the garden, and snuggling with the doggies. We hope to be out there by 2015, but if we’re lucky we’ll find a way to get there sooner!
In the meantime, you will get to read about all my projects and schemes, and I hope you will be at least a little bit entertained

a thirty-something wife and mother of two and I firmly believe that people

tractor. We're not on our property yet, but so far I've made it from
